PIG Gets You Through The Holidaze With Black Mass

“Previously in the world of Raymond Watts…”

Seriously, though, with each release that <PIG> has put out this year I feel the need to have a title card akin to Star Wars explaining what has happened up until now. But at the end of the day, we can all agree on one thing: There is no such thing as too much <PIG>!

But I digress.

Black Mass, the final offering from the Lord of Lard (We think!) in 2018, is out today and is the Christmas EP you didn’t know you needed in your life. For all you black hearted goths out there (Myself included), this is the album you can actually find joy with when tasked with picking some suitable holiday tunes at that inevitable family gathering. That’s right, kiddies! You won’t have to try hard to subdue that devilish grin when Black Mass begins and Raymond Watts belts out a rendition of Wham!’s “Last Christmas” that sounds like Nick Cave fronting T.Rex. Next, Watt’s adopts a ghoulish sneer as the King of Rock and Roll meets the Lord of Lard with the <PIG> version of “Blue Christmas” which is (obviously) even bluer than the original. Then John Lennon’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” closes out the most unexpected collection of holiday songs this season in a truly odd yet macabre fashion that’s inherently <PIG> through and through.

Black Mass is out through Armalyte Industries now! It’s available as a free download through Bandcamp here but all proceeds collected will be going to International Rescue Committee so, like, don’t be a jerk okay? You know what to do!
