Singles! Canyons and Locusts, “Day Of The Canyon”

There is something inherently infused into the DNA of the music of Canyons and Locusts that makes it instantly infectious. It’s not even a timeless quality per se (Which they have loads of anyhow) but just a constant feeling of deja vu with whichever CaD track might strike your fancy on a particular day. “Day Of The Canyon” is no different in that regard.

In other regards, however, the latest single from the Massazona/Arizachusetts hybrid (You get where we went with those mash ups, right? Like, you can tell it’s “Massachusetts” and “Arizona” in there???) channels Bob Mould’s gnarlier solo offerings as well as Mould’s work as Sugar and Copper Blue especially with the level of fuzzed out noise drummer Amy Young and vocalist/guitarist Justin Keane produce. Ahead of full-length The Goal Gigolo (Due February 21st) and following “Anna Save A Life”, “Day Of The Canyon” brings some new flavors to try off that upcoming record and a certifiable Rawk anthem from a duo that’s becoming synonymous with modern anthem-making!

“Day Of The Canyon” arrives on January 24th and you’d be better off bookmarking these spots here and here so you can hear it the instant it drops.
