Dee Snider Wants To Rock (Again) On Vibrant And Vicious Leave A Scar

There’s something about this recent second coming of Dee Snider that leaves a constant permagrin on my face because there’s very few artists out there today who can masterfully infuse some genuine FUN into Metal the way that Mr. Snider can. On his latest offering, the even more METAL follow up to 2018’s For Love Of Metal (Sweet jeebus, has it really been three years since this beastie?!?!?), Snider does just that with one heavy ass record that’s a cerebral celebration of the loudest musical genre.

Untitled Metal Column: Cannibal Corpse, Violence Unimagined

My experience with the legendary Cannibal Corpse is owning/enjoying the only album (so far) by Serpentine Dominion, the supergroup that features CC vocalist George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher (Along with Shannon Lucas of The Black Dahlia Murder and Killswitch Engage’s Adam D) and that’s it. So stating that I’m a Cannibal Corpse noob is a vast understatement, okay? As a lifelong Metalhead, though, I respect the hell out of the legacy and, while I can’t recite “Devoured By Vermin” from memory, I sure as shit appreciate their continued existence especially when it comes to their latest, Violence Unimagined.
