It’s no secret that we’ve dug the hell out of what’s come from Wyn & The White Light thus far so it’s probably not a surprise that debut album Luck was pretty high up on our most anticipated list already. Well, it’s almost here for the rest of y’all but we’ve already heard it, reviewed it, and shared what we thought in a recent post that you can read here. Labeling your debut album as a “34 minute journey through the divine feminine and near death experience” as Wyn & The White Light’s Wyn Doran (Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist) has done is more a mission statement than an expectation. If that quote did fall in that latter half, though, we think it’s safe to say that expectations be damned when talking about Luck as there’s no way to properly anticipate or expect the effect that the debut from Wyn & The White Light will have on fans following a slew of profound sonic stories that started dropping in 2023.

The wait is almost over for the highly anticipated debut full-length from Wyn & The White Light but the trio from New England isn’t one to let that anticipation rely simply on the promise of a collection “pomegranate-infused haunted-soul rock” to satiate fans without one more actual song to preview the record barely a month out from when Luck releases on March 19th.

Not really an anti-Holiday jam but more the antithesis for those who need it during what is a trying time for many, the newest single from Wyn & The White Light is a somber soliloquy (Believe it or not, that’s not the first time we’ve used that alliteration this week) chronicling an especially difficult period during the Christmas season in response to a challenge from Ben Folds at a songwriting retreat. Following the singles released so far and now with “Can the World Change”, what Wyn & The White Light is conjuring currently in advance of their upcoming debut album (Due in March) is altogether something special to collectively behold.
