Without a doubt one of THE bands to watch in 2015, Landshapes instantly make waves on the four and a half minute bout of perfection that is “Stay” which could be compared to The Jesus And Mary Chain just as much as it could contemporaries like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club or 2:54.
Built on a driving, swirling guitar squeal, “Stay” stands apart even more thanks in part to the almost ethereal vocals before turning into a thumping, bass-driven tribal masterpiece at its conclusion. As for the video? It’s got it all: A killer band rocking out, psychedelic lighting, and fire! I mean, what more do you need in a rock video?
Heyoon will be released via Bella Union on May 4th but for now, you can bask in the magnificence of “Stay” below. For more on Landshapes, head on over here.
