Rabble rousin’ soundtrack? Check. Killer chorus? Indeed! Plenty of sonic twists and turns to keep things interesting/separate from the pack? You betcha!! Sounds like Adios Fatso is back at it with another solid symphony of slammin’ sonic excess on latest release, “Gopro, Not Again!”
Similar to January’s “WTF”, “Gopro, Not Again!” is immediate and urgent with a full throttle drum performance out of Kevin Guerrero to start before those uncanny vocals from Sir-Ken Celli chime in with the quick cadences and commanding presence as well as some robust riffs. Top that all off with Christian Kmiecik’s bouncin’ bass which acts all hyper in the way a rubber ball from your youth tossed in a small space and just left to its’ destructive devices does and you get a song that takes Weezer’s Pop sensibilities, We Are Scientists’ affinity for stirring vocal harmonies and The Hives’ all around badass bombastic presence for the ultimate Adios Fatso thrill ride!
