Singles! Jennifer Tefft & The Strange, “A Little More”

Art by Stephen ‘Sharky’ Beccia; design by Jennifer Tefft

At this point with our history covering Jennifer Tefft & The Strange we really shouldn’t be surprised when each new piece of music continues to impress but here we are, jaws on the floor and ears tantalized YET AGAIN following a listen through to latest single “A Little More”.

We tend to shy away from comparing new material to what’s come before with any artist in general but with Jennifer Tefft & The Strange we’ve just gotta say: “A Little More” is leaps and bounds away from anything on 2024’s Strange Beginnings LP. And that record STILL OWNS. Anyway! What “A Little More” has going for it is just, ahem, a little more of everything. And everyone brings a little more of what they already do so well. Stephen “Sharky” Beccia’s bass and Tim Provost’s drums (In studio, Chris Jost is the current JT&TS drummer) immediately stand out as they sway and swell to counter John Parrillo’s electric guitar prowess with Tefft’s voice glistening in an ethereal way that’s elegantly executed as the pace picks up, the bravado turns to bombast, then settles back down again before concluding.

“A Little More” is out now and you have a variety of ways to save/download your very own copy which are conveniently all located here. For more from Jennifer Tefft & The Strange, hit their socials by clicking here or here.
