Singles! K3YP4RTY, “The Countdown”

We’re at the point of the K3YP4RTY story currently where there’s just no need for comparison. Maybe there was previously for those unfamiliar when “Worship My Body” or, most recently, “Do Not Misbehave” arrived on the scene but in the right now what’s to come simply “sounds like K3YP4RTY”! And that’s exactly how we’d describe their latest round of sonic excellence, “The Countdown”.

Destined to “be played at every NYE party across the world at the end of December” according to the press release and, y’know what? We can’t really disagree with that upon hearing it over and over and over a few hundred more times just to be sure. You know how in the greatest Dance/Electro tracks there’s that moment where there’s this hyper build leading to an explosive release of just pure sonic zen and if you were at a club, this is the moment you just close your eyes and lose your mind like no one is watching??? That’s the entirety of this track. It’s one big breakdown starting with the commanding way Acadia Grey rattles off the titular countdown in a way that’s tantalizing yet also threatening before three minutes and change of just pure, unfiltered electronic bliss cosigned by Asher Grey.

If you’re already well-versed in K3P4RTY lore then you just know there’s a sexy yet sinister video accompaniment lurking around the corner to any new single they drop and “The Countdown” does not breaking from that trend! With this one, dealing with sleep paralysis demons and anxiety-ridden dreams, viewers will constantly be glancing over their shoulder while watching because you think you’re looking at something dirty and you hope no one catches you… but in true K3YP4RTY fashion that’s when things turn naughty (Or maybe a little gruesome in this case). So, in other words, it’s messy… But still, messy or no, any excuse to watch Asher and Acadia playfully interact is a W for fans.

“The Countdown” begins NOW. Head here for the new track in a variety of options and here or to the clip below to catch the visuals. For more from K3YP4RTY, make sure you’re tuned into their socials found by clicking here, here, here or here.
