Before a new EP arriving this summer and a coveted spot on this year’s Boston Calling Festival, Nate Perry & Ragged Company return with single “Count On You” that’s just the kind of arena-ready anthem you’ve been looking for as we head into warm weather activities territory (Read: Summer).
If you’re already a fan or are just now joining us, “Count On You” is both a refresher and a starting point that mixes both The Killers and The Cure-type flourishes (Hot Fuss/Wish respectively) meant to give listeners the warm and fuzzies with the old world Americana Rawk that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band STILL do so well today. Rounded out by Sam DeMello on drums, Connor Milligan on bass, Ollie Nash on keys, and Mike Chandler on Lead guitar with Perry on lead vox and guitars, “Count On You” is a masterclass on genre-blending and blurs the lines between Pop, Alternative, Country, Folk, Rawk and more for a timeless tune that’s sure to be a blast to hear live across stages this Summer.
“Count On You” arrives today and you can get your copy at all your most favorite DSP locations, some of which can be found here.
