Singles! Sound Advice , “Nothing At All”

The antithesis of what upcoming showmates (Probably not a word) The Far Out delivered on “Laurel”, Sound Advice manage to still be smooth as silk on the wondrous “Nothing At All” which flips the script, leans into a jazzier feel yet kicks ass all the same.

As former Berklee College of Music peeps, “Nothing At All” reminds us of when the stars align and you’d get that diamond in the rough Caf Show (You guessed it… maybe? It’s a show in the cafeteria) where masterful musicianship prevailed and all the music nerds could just tell they were watching the start of something truly great. Anyway! What we’re saying is that the beautiful music that guitarist Dan Wrona, Lead Vocalist Sara Velazquez, Drummer Paul Jasmin, Keyboardist Jack Rudolph, and Bassist Nick Franzini are developing together is pretty freaking sweet. Velazquez is a presence, bringing sweet serene runs that weave in and out of the happening hum from Franzini and Jasmin’s rhythm section while nicely playing off or Rudolph’s profound piano melodies as Wrona’s strums solemnly shine.

“Nothing At All” is out now and you can find your copy now by heading here or to the stream below. For more from Sound Advice, like all the info on that aforementioned show with The Far Out happening on July 10th at The Burren or the one at Midway Cafe on August 2nd with River Sang Wild, Gold Star BLVD, and Verona Rose, be sure to follow their socials found here!
