Singles! Stop That Man, “Good Girl”

We’re not sure how we stumbled upon Boston/North Shore outfit Stop That Man but we’re glad that we did! Like a mixture of DIIV and Sonic Youth put through a Riot Grrrl filter, Stop That Man hold nothing back on debut single “Good Girl”.

Elements of Shoegaze and NYC-driven Art Punk are prevalent immediately with spacey guitar lines contrasting the subtle bass and drum rumblings before some half sung/half spoken word vox enter to complete the quartet of Erin, Wylie, Matt & Con who collectively exquisitely erupt ahead of a divine denouement that’ll leave listeners longing for what’s next.

“Good Girl” is out now and you can find your own copy by heading here or to the stream below. For more from Stop That Man, including where to catch the band at upcoming live outings like the one THIS WEEKEND (June 7th) at Ralph’s Rock Diner in Woostah with Westside Rats, Structure Sounds, and Dead Wait, hit STM’s lone social here.
