A promising picture that the highly anticipated follow up to our number one album of 2018 might be here sooner rather than later is VOWWS’ brand new single “Impulse Control” which has the Electro duo at another exciting crossroads, venturing into even darker territory than ever before as a reflection of these current isolated, bleak times.
More discordant, more Industrial-tinged, and just more VOWWS in general, “Impulse Control” is both a stark contrast and a bold new adventure following Under the World and The Great Sun. Built from hypnotic pluckings and programmed, mechanical beats, the track gradually swells while introducing Matt James’ unmistakable baritone before Rizz’s divine voice chimes in leading to a haunting conclusion.
