Spooky SZN Sounds: Izzy Reign, “Spooky Scary Skeletons” (Andrew Gold Cover)

Cover Art by Izzy Reign

Disclaimer: We swear our next Izzy Reign-related post will have nothing to do with Spooky SZN. We swear!

But anyway!

Who would even THINK to take a song as campy and borderline cheesy as “Spooky Scary Skeletons” (Originally by Andrew Gold) and transform it into a haunting aria??? Izzy Reign, that’s who! Following the recent release of “Living Dead Girl” (Originally by Rob Zombie), Izzy Reign has used her sorcery for good to give fans of IR, spooky music, and maybe people who HATED the original (Which may or may not include us) something to believe in. Gone is the silliness replaced with an impending sense of Doom in a way that only Izzy Reign could conjure up on a track that we think is destined to be in an upcoming Horror Movie trailer or hopefully something that runs during the end credits of one. Does “Skull Mask” from the recent Fear Street trilogy need a theme song or is the Netflix music director looking for submissions for the new FS coming out next year?? Just saying, we think we found the perfect artist to curate that is all.

“Spooky Scary Skeletons” is ready to be added to your spooky playlists now via FiXT and you can find your copy at all the usual haunts, some of which can be found when you click here or here. For more from Izzy Reign, including the latest on her upcoming debut full-length slated for release in 2025, follow the trail of socials across the interwebs when you click here, here, or here.
