RNRF X Salem Horror Fest 8: “Official Selections- Shorts & Interludes”, Safe

David Yorke does it again with another entry for the 2025 edition of Salem Horror Fest and, like Yorke’s other short showing during the festival (Nervous Ellie! Read our review here), Safe is an unexpected treat in the Horror genre that surely puts the writer/director/creative in the running to take down Mr. M. Night Shyamalan as the “Twist King” (Not an actual title)!

Siona (Sharon Sibyl Gatt) is stalked by a killer in a mask… and that’s about all we’re allowed to tell you without giving away too much (It is a Short after all). That said, Safe drops you into the end of a movie when things are at a fever pitch, the tension is high, the killer is just about to get their intended victim and then… well, that would be cheating. But trust us again, like Nervous Ellie, there’s no way you will see what’s coming.

Safe just had its’ New England Premiere during Salem Horror Fest 8: The Horror Within! If you missed your chance to see it then, you can head here to find out when might be able to see it next.
