Singles! Eliza and the Organix, “No Contact”

Just as last year’s “Xmas in Hell” served as a sort of anti-Holiday jam you never knew you needed in your life, “No Contact” provides a different sort of service catering to those out there with the post-Holiday blues or just an aversion to the doldrums of January in general.

Just like they did with its’ predecessor, Eliza and the Organix like to keep it upbeat despite the somber nature. And we like that just fine. Per Eliza Waldman, “No Contact” goes for a more Green Day or Blink 182 vibe regarding both the bands more earnest, and dare we say “mature”, material. We get that here. A lot. Especially if you focus on Blink 182’s self-titled effort in 2003 and tracks like “I Miss You”. But more upbeat. Because that’s what Eliza and the Organix do. They also do catchy as hell really well, too, with Waldman’s sweeping, broad and entrancing vocal delivery at the forefront surrounded by glistening guitar lines which are equally as captivating.

“No Contact” releases on January 21st and you can be the first to hear it when you head here to find all the links to the Eliza and the Organix-related streaming pages. For more from the band, including more info on their release show also on the 21st at Berlin Under A in NYC, follow the information superhighway for ALL the links you need located here and here.
