It doesn’t always pan out the way we’d like but when it does, that feeling is so great! We’re talking about how we obviously manifested the upcoming new Pixel Grip LP into being (Absolutely not true) just by ranking it super high in our 2025 preview post with just a lone single to go on (Read: dumb luck/happy coincidence) which you can see for yourself here (Spoiler alert: PG is #1).

Anyway! You did read that right! Pixel Grip is back with their 3rd full-length over all called Percepticide: The Death of Reality (Out June 12th, pre-order here), their first since 2021’s ARENA, which features the last round of single releases including the dark Electro ecstasy of “bet you do.”, “Stamina”, and latest “Split”. Latest, that is, until “Reason to Stay” hit the airwaves to herald the arrival of album #3!

And how does “Reason to Stay” measure up with what’s come so far? What is it the kids day? “God-level”? “God-tier”? It’s pretty high up there, okay? The Chicago-based trio featuring Rita Lukea (vocals), Tyler Ommen (drums), and Jonathon Freund (synth) has outdone themselves once again with their blend of Industrial, Electro, and Darkwave which is especially present on “Reason to Stay” with PG mashing their hybrid sound into a fine-tuned machine amidst throbbing beats, a sinister synthetic atmosphere and lush vocals from Lukea which bounce between alluring and aggro with ease.

“Reason to Stay” is out now through all your most favorite DSP’s which you can find here while the accompanying video is directly below.
