Catchiness, thy name is The Ringer Soundtrack! No, wait. That doesn’t sound like something you’d wanna get. Let’s try this again: The Ringer Soundtrack bring the catchiness?!?! Slightly better and that’s what we’re gonna stick with when commenting on “Voicemail”, the newest and highly infectious track from Boston’s The Ringer Soundtrack.
“Voicemail” is such a solid track that’s subtle but also subliminal with the way listeners are first introduced to the catchy chorus at the track’s onset delivered with a supreme smoothness from Mick Coyne (Vocals, Piano) not knowing that by the end of the track they’ll not only be effortlessly crooning along, too, but also will be unable to refrain from belting those words out long after the song is over. Add in some sanguine soundscapes from both Brandon Forbes Dalrymple (Guitars) and Ross Goodwin (Bass) that lead to a riotous conclusion featuring wailing solos, crashing percussion and that Coyne spewn chorus breaking through all the noise and you have the makings of a new Indie Alternative anthem that’s a fitting amalgamation of John Mayer-style Pop with The Modern Lovers’ own brand of lo-fi Rawk!
“Voicemail” is out now across all your favorite DSP’s, some of which can be found by heading here or to the stream below. For more from The Ringer Soundtrack, hit the information superhighway to find the socials located when you get off here or here.
