Can AshenMoon’s debut full-length please be out already? Of the (now) three singles released thus far, the relatively new quartet has stacked an impressive deck of Pop-infused Rawk songs that show depth and diversity as they also inject their own blend of New Wave, groove-based sounds into something that is distinctive and uniquely AshenMoon.
Presenting yet another facet of AshenMoon’s already stirring musical personality, “Future Kings & Queens” is a little more laid back with vocalist Toby Rand really shining when his vocals tread between a hearty screech and gorgeous falsetto as they reach new heights to match the triumphant guitar lines dropped by Jimmy Khoury. Add the rhythmic bounce from bassist Garry Beers and drummer Sebastian Gregory as they lay forth a righteous groove throughout and you have the recipe for something special and ultimately unforgettable.

Speaking of soul, Rand brings all of the Soul to his performance throughout “Future Kings & Queens” which is like mixing a hymnal with Bowie’s “Heroes”.
