We’d say that you’re missing out if you haven’t seen Boston’s Casket Rats live in the wild yet but after hearing new single “Whiskey Queen” we’d also go so far as to say that this is as pretty close to the live experience you might get from a recorded venture out of this quartet of Punk Rawkers.
Following their last EP (A BANGER which you can get right now by clicking here), “Whiskey Queen” is faster and more furiouser than anything on their last outing (And that’s saying something…) with a modern Cro-Mags meets The Blasters meets The Cramps amalgamation integrated into the controlled chaos that Brendan O’Hare (Vocals, guitar), Goose (Guitar, vocals), Keith Bennett (Bass, vocals) and Phil Slopak (Drums) construct on the regular as Casket Rats.
“Whiskey Queen” is out now and you can get your fix of the incoming the aural onslaught now by heading here or here or below to the Justin Maloney-directed video clip. For more from Casket Rats, including where to catch them in their natural environment on stage, hit the socials by heading here or here. And speaking of live! Casket Rats will be celebrating their newest release and their fans with a FREE show this weekend at Courthouse Park in Brighton on Sunday, July 27.
