New music from Linnea’s Garden should be celebrated. From the rooftops. In the office. From the comfort of your home. In the streets! Even in the sheets! In this case, though, it’s the the clubs that’ll be doing their fair share of celebrating as new single “Stop Codon” heralds a SLEW of shows throughout March that starts with a release day show at Middle East Upstairs (More on that below) then takes the Dance Punk mavens into the South, SXSW and Las Vegas to name a few spots before they head back our way for a show at The Sil in mid-April!
Now what can we say about the latest from Linnea Herzog (Vocals, Guitar), Hands (Bass), and Ray Clough (Drums) that hasn’t been said before? Or, more accurately, how can we glaze a phenomenal new Linnea’s Garden track in a way that won’t make ourselves sound redundant? Anyway! What we can say apart from all that word vomit is that “Stop Codon” immediately stands out from the rest of recent LG material with a little bit of a harder edge and an urgency befitting these anxious and trying times. A must-listen and a must-have!
“Stop Codon” is out now along with the accompanying video (Which you can peep here) ahead of that aforementioned tour which kicks off TONIGHT (March 6th) at Middle East Upstairs with Happy Little Clouds, Adi Sun and Endation (Advance tix available here). You can head here or to the stream below to get your copy of the new LG and for the rest of their music, a complete list of all upcoming shows, the band’s socials and more then just click here.
