One of our favorite things to come from Strange Beginnings, Jennifer Tefft & The Strange’s debut LP is the diversity of styles contained, and mastered, within. One moment you’re experiencing the rawkin’-est Rawk anthem while the next hones in on Americana with the next a Bluesy Alternative anthem. Yet it all still sounds like JT&TS and that’s no small feat. And all of that is just a means to an end in telling you that while you may never know what you’re gonna get when you turn on a new Jennifer Tefft & The Strange tune, you’ll always know that it’s gonna be good no matter what.
And new single “Silver” is no exception. It’s also one that might overtake “Going Out” as the song we most associate with Tefft and friends. Inhabiting a time period that’s both current yet also somewhere in both the ’80’s AND ’90’s, “Silver” is a crossover crusher driven by Stephen “Sharky” Beccia’s Bass and Chris Jost’s drumming with Tefft manipulating the mood effortlessly with the voice timbre and tone as John Parrillo erects walls of riffs that dips their toes in Post-Rawk waters while also providing a steady helping of soulful shreds.
“Silver” is out now across all your most favorite DSP’s and you can find the version that best suits you by heading here or to the stream below!
