Singles! literally/nobody, “in reverse”

If the sounds emanating out of our listening device bringing the ssweet tune that is “in reverse” from literally/nobody to our earholes wasn’t already doing everything for us, the fact the Chris Johnson is at the boards immediately sold us because Johnson’s work in local acts like Summoner and dwelley, never mind in the beast that is Deafheaven, speaks volumes.

But today we’re speaking volumes on literally/nobody (Now isn’t that a sentence to type!) who is set to unveil their debut single “in reverse” with more on the way from the fledgling Boston Rawk outfit.

Relics of a bygone era? Or just some new cool ass shit? We’re not sure! We’re getting the poppier side of Husker Du (Especially Candy Apple Grey/”Don’t Want To Know If You Are Lonely”) off of the vibes that “in reverse” are laying down but also something else entirely. The foundation that Spencer Gusha (vocals/guitar), Anton Kuznetsov (drums), Michael Core (bass), and Kyle Stephens (guitar) are building with “in reverse” is pretty frelling stellar combining that earnest, raw energy of Alternative’s early beginnings with a mixture of expansive shoegaze and Dream Pop (Hum and Failure come to mind here) on a first release that’s sure to rattle around inside that noggin for some time.

“in reverse” is out now and you can find your copy by heading here or to the stream below. For more from literally/nobody, including finding out where to catch them live next (Like at O’Brien’s on June 4th with Creek, Ghostlike, and Broken Head), hit the socials by clicking here.
