Singles! Rx27, “Welcome To Sick City”

27 March 2020 By jesse Leave a Comment

Our favorite ghouls from Los Angeles return with a feisty new track that’ll have you shakin’ that thang and wishing you could leave the house to rawk the eff out in public. But you can’t! Yet. And in the meantime, we’re here to help give you the best soundtrack to shake your booty to indoors. And that playlist includes this fine new mammer jammer from Rx27.

Exploding from a haunting piano line and Ms. Maxine Murr Derr’s anguished scream heralding what’s to come, “Welcome To Sick City” starts as a demonic dirge with Joie Blaney entering next with some sinister verses of his own before their voices intertwine on the chorus. The pairing of Blaney and Murr Derr is unbeatable with a call and response refrain that’s divine culminating in a frantic and raucous race to the ghoulish finish.

Like the result of an unholy union between Genitorturers and The Electric Hellfire Club, “Welcome To Sick City” is devilish fun and another fine addition to Rx27’s brand of infectious Horror Punk Rawk.

“Welcome To Sick City” is out now through all of your favorite streaming services which you can check out by clicking here or here. For more on Rx27, follow them over the information superhighway by heading here or here.
