Singles! Temptress, “Chemical”

23 October 2019 By jesse 1 Comment

Joining the ranks of <PIG> and Rammstein, the Industrial maniacs in New England’s Temptress are out to provide their fans the means to follow them anywhere. And we mean ANYWHERE…even on PornHub. Because why not?

But I digress.

Temptress is back with a new single and a renewed purpose having lost not one, but two guitarists recently. Bassist Anthony Coy pulled a Christian Olde Wolbers (With none of the lawsuits and all of the skillz! As an aside, Archetype fucking rules, okay?) and took over lead guitar duties (While also handling bass and keys to boot). Rounded out by vocalist Jake Funk and drummer John DiGeronimo, the trio forged ahead to craft “Chemical” which is almost akin to a debut single.

And what a debut it is! Built on a throbbing heaping of heavy shredding, DiGeronimo’s syncopated percussive blasts and Funk’s sweeping delivery, the track merges ’90’s-style Helmet-sized riffs with Rammstein’s broad stadium-ready anthems to make the most perfect Industrial amalgamation for the season. And the most perfect reintroduction to Temptress.

“Chemical” releases on the most wonderful day of the year: Halloween! For more on Temptress, including upcoming live shows and more, follow them on the interwebs by clicking here or here. Pre-save on the single via Spotify by clicking here or order directly from the band by clicking here as well. Then there’s the aforementioned PornHub account which you can access by clicking here because you know you’re kinda curious.
