We’ve been talking a lot about “feel bad” hits of the summer lately but not enough about the “feel good” ones it seems. That’s about to change, though, as a new single from The Roland High Life is roaring to life and ready to bring the Summer vibes that you may have grown accustomed to!
Just leave it to Thom Dunn (Vocals/Guitar), Walker Dieckmann (Vocals/Keys), Chris Correia (Drums), Jake WM (Bass) and Nick Kefting (Guitar/Vocals) as The Roland High Life to come out of nowhere with a Summer banger that you didn’t know you needed in your life right now. The track in question, “The Edge of Memory” is immediately iconic with hooks that’ll, um, hook you immediately? Sorry, we thought it was clever.
Anyway!
Soothing and synth-y with call and response verses and a lush chorus that’s, at times, reminiscent of classic Weezer but put through a mid-’00’s Pop Punk wardrobe change, “The Edge of Memory” has a little of everything for music fans in all walks of life. Hell, there’s even a badass breakdown within that’s guaranteed to make even the staunchest Hard Rawk head bob their noggin along as soon as it kicks in.
“The Edge Of Memory” is out on July 10th and you can head here to pre-save yours and then here or here for the latest on The Roland High Life including where to catch them live next like at O’Brien’s on July 19th with Shell Games and The Only Ones (Advance tix available here)!
