Singles! Tysk Tysk Task, “Ocean Now”

After covering the brilliant “Colors” single by Lowell’s own Tysk Tysk Task, we somehow managed to drop the ball and completely miss the equally brilliant “Rosegold” released in late July (Check it out here)… but we’ll be damned if we miss out again! Well, a little at least seeing as we missed the release of “Ocean Now” by a week or two. Hey, we’re trying!

But I digress!

“Ocean Now” is EPIC. Ahead of their upcoming full-length (The amazing You’re Sorry More which we’ve heard, love, and have words to share on ahead of the release) coming in mid-September, Tysk Tysk Task has crafted a stellar sojourn that’s trippy and triumphant and the sort of thing that’d be the result of The Doors and Monster Magnet trading notes on their own unique brand of psychedelia yet still managing to retain those Grunge elements the MA-based outfit has become synonymous with.

At the forefront is Samantha Hartsel whose voice is even more potent as it constantly fluctuates through timbres and tones while being intricately woven into the fabric of this multi-textured genre exploration. Alongside drummer Danni Gannon and bassist Ellis Roundy, who both execute subtle yet stunning performances that ebb and flow with the sonic waves created, Tysk Tysk Task give listeners the best closing track to their summer while previewing what’s to come on You’re Sorry More.

“Ocean Now” is available, well, NOW! You can get yours and get all the pertinent social media links alongside pre-order info for Tysk Tysk Task’s upcoming new rekkid by clicking here.
