Singles! War On Alexandria, “Sleep Deprived”

Howzabout Fleetwood Mac meets Sap-era Alice In Chains as a musical combination that you never knew you needed to hear? Because on first listen to “Sleep Deprived” by Boston’s War On Alexandria, that’s exactly the kinds of vibes we’re feeling. Regardless of our first impressions, there’s no doubt that listening through the new Boston quartet’s debut single will give listeners all the feels in the best way possible.

The vocal harmonies that Emma Keefe and Liam McCain conjure are magical within this sweeping little ditty as its’ blues-fueled giitars (Yeah, I know how I spelled it. Pronounced “Gee-tars”, okay?) transcend Grunge. Then there’s those bass tones that Lucas McCain bring to life which are reminiscent of Jar of Flies/Sap-style AIC while Corey Spingel’s drums propel the song in a percussive direction that’s simply gorgeous with the McCain/Keefe coupling offering soulful visions into what’s to come from this beautiful merger.

“Sleep Deprived” is available now through all major digital outlets and, lucky for you, we’ve included a handy link or two which you can find here and here. For the latest on War On Alexandria, head here and here.
