2015 looks to be a banner year for new bands and another band that’s sure to make a splash is London-based The Goodbooth.

The long description of the band goes something like this: “We like to make to make music about life and stuff that gets stuck in your head and makes you tap your feet.” Stuck in your head is definitely key because once you hear “Sour”, their debut single, not only will you find yourself compelled to keep the song on repeat but you’ll be gagging for what’s to come next.

It’s the mellow, driving guitar lines undercut by the subtle percussion topped with vocalist Kelly Appleton’s distinct delivery. Appleton is definitely a vocalist to keep an eye on. Whether it’s perfectly mixing harmonies with guitarist Justin Andree, soaring above the music on her own or giving a subdued yet impactful performance, Appleton exhibits a range in these almost four minutes that sets her and The Goodbooth on the path to greatness.

You can keep up on The Goodbooth by heading over to their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages and listen to “Sour” over and over again below or on Soundcloud.
