Makes My Blood Dance Make Sweet Synth-Driven Sonic Symphonies Across Debut LP #Z3R0 2 LGHT $P33D!

Not to start off on a comparison but what the world needs now is the kind of danceable Industrial-tinged Electro anthems that Morlocks used to make (RIP Johann Strauss) and we think we have come across the next generation with Makes My Blood Dance and it is AWESOME. Mixing just the right amount of Darkwave, Electro and Industrial, debut LP Z3R0 2 LGHT $P33D! is a promising cornucopia of Synth-laden sounds that’s sure to appeal to music fans of all those mentioned genres and beyond!

“Time and a Place” kind of transcends genres beginning with a thumping beat and shredding riffs but infused with some New Wave aesthetic that already makes it stand out from the rest of the noise out there currently with “Black Summer” leaning deep into Electro life and serving up an immediate dichotomy that will be even more prevalent as the record unfolds. To that end, “Impossible Odds” gets the blood pumping and the feets stomping with a robotic-tinged ripper featuring a killer chorus from EV0 followed by “Your Little Hand In Mine” which is seeped in Goth and Industrial lite like this mix of She Wants Revenge and Gravity Kills.

Next up, Macy Gray (!!!) makes an appearance on the funked up New Wave/Electro hybrid “Lately” and then “Heavy Metal Armour” lives up to the name with a guitar-driven wall of sound to start and an all around shreddy good time. “Forget To Let It In” is a pulsating beats-driven number with “Invisible Friend” offering a heavenly Electro soaked Gothic experience before “Spin You Around” ends the originals here (A boppin’ Jungle-laden EDM remix of opener “Time and a Place” wraps the record up) with a an infectious bumpin’ beastie best played loud and on the dancefloor!

Z3R0 2 LGHT $P33D! is out now on Metropolis Records and you can find the version that suits your needs the best when you head here or to the stream below.
