We really can’t get enough of what AlienBlaze is putting down lately. And if you haven’t caught on to the Nu-Grunge Emo stylings of AB yet then “Enemies with Benefits” is another prime example of why you should’ve already been following on Spotify and more yesterday.
Infectiously hypnotic yet haunting at the same time, “Enemies with Benefits” is a slight deviation from when we last checked in on AlienBlaze and the soaring “Romantically Dead” (Which you can read about here) but no less fierce with fiery guitar lines and lush vocals both effortlessly delivered by AlienBlaze. Sonically, “Enemies…” is the sound you’d get if you took the vibe of “In The City” by Kevin Rudolf and mixed it up with the aesthetic of Twenty One Pilots’ Suicide Squad contribution, “Heathens”, and we’re all the better for having that kind of noise in our life right now.
