Like a cross between The Cramps and Le Tigre, Bangwell Putt bring the Riot Grrrl, the rambunctiousness and repetitive refrains that’ll imprint in your Grey Matter like your Junior High locker combination. Furious and fun at the same time, “Are You Mad At Me?” is everything that’s right with modern mad musical scientists who like practice the art of genre-splicing which, in Bangwell Putt’s case, takes the Punk we mentioned earlier and wraps it in flannel for a little bout of “Grungepunk”.
