Singles! Crossbreed, “Unbelievable”

Yes, it is indeed the year of our Lord 2026 and we are sitting here typing about new Crossbreed material. Sure, it may be a cover but it’s still new! And it’s leading to even more new, and original, material so we will take it!

Today, though, we’re headed back to the 90’s and a little band called EMF and a little single called “Unbelievable” that was all the rage. Or is it still all the rage? We’re not really up on our memes so may have missed something. Regardless! Even if it’s not currently in the collective brainspace we predict a resurgence is on the way when the take that the returning Techno-Metal titans in Crossbreed is set to unleash finally arrives.

Thinking back to the original, and knowing that EMF’s own James Atkin blessed the new version following a meeting with Crossbreed frontman James Rietz earlier this year, it’s actually a wonder the song was never adapted previously as comparing the two and it’s easily apparent what a perfect pairing “Unbelievable” is with the bombastic presence of Crossbreed. And if you hadn’t already heard Crossbreed’s more recent works (“Welcome To The Wasteland” & “Whisper In Your Eyes” which are both available now!) and were of the “Well, what do they sound like now???” mindset then have no fear because it’s like the band hasn’t missed a step since Synthetic Division released in 2001.

The new version of “Unbelievable” is close enough to the original yet with these Crossbreed signature Cyber-tek synthetic flourishes to make it their own with Rietz sounding as vibrant as ever and backed up by guests Seven Dunbar Wade Harris.

“Unbelievable” is out on June 1st ahead of a BRAND NEW Crossbreed full-length called Radiation Therapy which arrives in August! For all the places to hear “Unbelievable” the instant it drops, head here and then here or here for the Crossbreed socials to insure you’ll be the first to know about new music and live appearances in your town.
