You want range? Yearning for a dynamic sound?? Needing a newer artist to really show you what they’ve got with only a few releases to their name so far??? Then you might wanna tune into what Boston’s Looking Glass War is cooking up because we guarantee you won’t find a more night and day offering between singles than what debut “ARRIVE!” and incoming “I Can Tell By The Cars” have for your earholes.
Right off the bat, “I Can Tell By The Cars” is a different beastie than what the immediate and in-you-face “ARRIVE!” was by presenting some laid back early Razorlight swag but still retaining that bravado from their debut single in a way that The Bravery used to do so well especially when vocalist Goddamn Glenn reaches that pinnacle croon. Surrounding the vocalist is Pete Zeigler’s lush guitar chords bringing airs of The Cure to mind while Tony Porter lightly lays sticks to skins behind the kit and Mike Ackley effortlessly accents it all with a harmonious hum from the bass underneath.
“I Can Tell By The Cars” heads your way on August 11th. To get yours as soon as it arrives, head here, and for all the latest from Looking Glass War be sure to follow their socials when you click here or here.
