It’s not that the world needs more “feel-bad” songs per se but rather there needs to be more under that niche that are as accessible and as aurally appetizing as TELL’s upcoming “Hate Yourself in the Morning” is. And no, you didn’t read that wrong! Per the press release the new single from Boston’s TELL is indeed pining for that coveted “feel-bad hit of the summer” title and we are here for it. As should you.

Although it is really hard to feel bad when a song sounds as good as “Hate Yourself in the Morning”! Sporting a Punk aesthetic filtered into a Garage Rawk body with the swagger of Iggy Pop or Edwyn Collins fronting Caesars, TELL’s newest track is a genre-intertwined burst of sustained bombast that’s highly infectious and another musical feat from David Wildman (Guitar, Lead Vox, Keyboards), Jim Foster (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Pat Crann (Drums) and Jason Raffi (Bass).

“Hate Yourself in the Morning” is out on June 26th and you can make sure you get yours in the version you want the second it arrives by heading here. For more from TELL, including all the info on their release night show (June 26th!) at Warp & Weft in Lowell with Smitt E.
