Singles! The Roland High Life, “Old Atlantic”

If you were not aware, The Roland High Life is BACK! Following last year’s introspective “Scotty Says”, The Boston-based band returns with what TRHL’s Thom Dunn describes as an “accidental stadium rock banger” and we couldn’t agree more!

Much the way that recent Rumble vets like Bird Language and Ruin The Nite infuse some keys into their brand of Rawk, The Roland High Life’s instrumentation adds even more depth to elevate the emotive Alternative Americana sound produced on latest anthem “Old Atlantic”. According to Dunn, the newest from TRHL is a mix of Frank Turner live experiences, long trips on the Mass Pike and a little bit of Everclear’s “Santa Monica”. Confused? You won’t be once you hear the smooth summer sounds of “Old Atlantic”… in January. It’s kind of the most perfect Alt Rawk jam that’s ready for any season or situation whether it’s being blared loudly with the top down as you traverse Route 1 on your way to Revere Beach or headed in the opposite direction cruising along 93 (Read: stuck in traffic) with the heat cranked towards Wollaston to make snow angels (It’s a thing, trust us).

“Old Atlantic” drops on January 5th and you can head here for all the best places to pre-save and pre-order your copy now! Before that you can get a preview of the track live when The Roland High Life play Middle East Upstairs supporting Island of Alaska alongside Amber Fly, and Dear Maryanne on January 3rd! You can click here for the link to that show and then here, here, and here to keep up on what else the band have in store live and otherwise this 2024.
