Singles! Guerilla State, “Never Taking Me”

15 January 2021 By jesse 1 Comment

Guerilla State is here with their unique brand of Folk Rawk that’s fresh and fearless. On their debut single, “Never Taking Me”, the Irish Rawk duo deliver a pounding progressive anthem that’s as magical as it is memorable.

Built from a steady careening wall of riffs amplified by enthusiastic piano tones, “Never Taking Me” is all broad, sweeping passages and gargantuan sing-a-long choruses to make the track a perfect introduction to the State. Add in some haunting vocal lines toward song’s conclusion before an introspective cooldown followed by one last percussive blast and a veritable symphony of sounds and you have one fine anthem in the making.

“Never Taking Me” is out now through D&R Records. You can listen now by heading here. For more on Guerilla State, follow them on their social media pages by clicking here, here, or here.
